“I’ve known Greg and his work for more than ten years. He is a creative, energetic and thoughtful leader who is constantly pushing on the edge of the envelope. While working at Children’s Hospital I made it a habit to talk with Greg at least twice a month to see what ideas he was pursuing knowing he would be steps ahead of me in both innovation and execution.
Through the years I’ve also had a chance to witness firsthand Greg’s leadership in volunteer settings. As sponsorship chair for the local National Philanthropy Day (NPD) Celebration in 2001/2002 I worked on the team chaired by Greg. He made it fun, pushed me toward setting a new record for sponsorship and made it fun all at the same time. In my opinion, while there are many volunteers who have made NPD successful, Greg is the critical leader who made it possible for the event to reach the importance it enjoys today in the Detroit philanthropic community.
In a sea of professionals raising money and leading organizations, Greg stands out as someone who consistently accomplishes goals and pushes toward new solutions with a healthy sense of humor and a focus on the art of the possible.”
