This day-long workshop is designed to be a highly engaging and transformative experience centered on the ever-changing funeral home and hospice care environments. This workshop will establish how, through specific action and adaptation, funeral professionals can become part of the continuum of care. It will create a sensible path on how to become a care community hospice insider. Hospice Advisors team will continue to step outside-the-slide to seize participant attention and drives home how everyone benefits through collective support of patients and families during the critically emotional end-of-life stage. You will learn about how companies like Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Homes in Indianapolis, have been very successful in building authentic and lasting relationships with hospices.

Upon completion of this workshop motivated funeral professionals should be able to:
- Have a basic understanding of Hospice providers.
- Discover “Why” you do things is more important than “What” you do or “How” you do it.
- Begin to explore the commonalities amongst hospice and funeral professionals.
- Construct a simple “Traction” plan to begin to create a bridge to the care community.
- Your basic measure of success for your partnership/outreach actions.
- How to establish roots as part of the continuum in the care community.
